Christian Podcasts

Luci and Jordan are two Christian feminists who began annotating the Bible, chapter by chapter, week by week in 2016.  Join them as they dive into the history of early church mothers (and a few fathers) and reflect on how Christians of the past continue to inform our faith today. They are feminists and Christians, so they take Scripture seriously but not literally. They strive for an intersectional lens as we take a look at the holy text and the history of the Church.

The Episcopal Café hosts several popular podcasts on spirituality which focuses on bringing fresh reflections and ideas to the conversation. Our collective sympathy, as the Café, lies with the project of widening the circle of inclusion within the church and empowering all the baptized for the role to which they have been called as followers of Christ.

“Ugly confessions from beautiful people… It’s like a car wash for our shame and secrets.” Hosted by the Lutheran pastor, Nadia Bolz-Weber.

On Tuesday evenings @6pm this fall, we will be discussing this podcast via Zoom. Email chaplain.don@stfrancisuw.org for the Zoom link. (Contains adult content and language.)
